This is a great park.  There are a lot of different things to keep kids occupied here and part of the playground is shaded.  My son loved the train and the other kids that were there were having a great time on the sand diggers.  This was definitely worth the trip.

This is a medium-sized playground that has three main structures that are connected.  It is in a very large park with a public pool and pavilions.

Slides: 4 (1 tunnel, 1 double, 1 small, 1 twist)
Bridges: 3 (2 fixed, 1suspension)
Tunnels: 0
Climbers: standard ladder, pommel climber, curly climbers, loop climber, snake pole, arch climber
Swings: toddler, regular
Other: stepping stones, trapeze loop ladder, zip lines

There are benches, picnic tables and pavilions with more picnic tables.  Parking is in a lot.

This park is definitely one of our favorites.  It is shaded and has a nice variety of things to do.  There is a train that runs on the hill just behind the playground, so if you have kids that like trains, they will love that.  There is a public pool here, so I'm thinking when it opens, the park will be much more busy.

This is a medium-sized park just off Lower Macungie Rd. near Cedar Crest Blvd.

Slides: 4 (1 twist, 1 triple, 1 wishbone, 1 tunnel)
Bridges: 1 fixed
Tunnels: 0
Climbers: standard ladder, arch climber, mountain climber, twist ladder
Swings: toddler, regular
Other: trapeze ring ladder, checkers table

There are a few benches and a pavilion with picnic tables.  Parking is on the street.

This is a great little park.  The equipment is different enough to keep kids entertained and it is very well maintained.  There aren't many nice mountain climbers around and the triple slide is fun because each slide is different.  We went once during soccer time and it was very busy, so I would avoid going during game time in the future.

The fish hatchery is a great place to take kids for some relaxing fun.  It is just off Cedar Crest Blvd near the Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Bags of food are available in the office and start at $.50 a bag.  There is also a vending machine for the food if you are there at a time when the office isn't open.  There are a variety of sizes of fish that you can feed and some of the areas are shaded.  There are great paths for walking and you can also watch people fly fishing in the stream.

There are benches and picnic tables available.

We love to visit the fish hatchery.  The $1 bag of fish food lasts just long enough and there is a lot of open space to run around.  The guys that work in the office are very friendly and will explain anything that you ask about.

This is a medium-sized park that has mostly older equipment.  It is in Bethlehem just off Catasaqua Road.

Slides: 5 (2 single, 1 double, 1 spiral, 1 tunnel, 1 metal)
Bridges: 1 suspension
Tunnels: 0
Climbers: standard ladder, arch climber, chain ladder
Swings: toddler, regular, tire
Other: monkey bars, zip line, spring riders, overhead ladder, see saws

There are a few benches.  Parking is on the street.

I was hoping for more with this park.  The grass was very long and one of the slides had orange plastic over the top with a note that it was being repaired.  The equipment on the left side of the park is older and doesn't appear to be well maintained.

This is a large park that is actually two parks, one on each side of the parking lot.  It is in Bethlehem, just off Pennsylvania Avenue.

I really like this park a lot.  It was very crowded on one side when we got there, so we headed to the other, which was empty.  Then we went back to the first side when it cleared out a little.  The train is in the shade, which is very nice.  My only complaint was that there was a lot of graffiti in the area, but the park was well maintained otherwise.

This is a really nice park, especially if you have a child that likes tunnels.  We got there early and there were only a few kids, but it did fill up quickly.  The good news is there is plenty of room to play, but if your kids really like the tunnels, they can get very crowded.

This park has a large playground that is shaded.  It is in three separate sections.  The park is near the intersection of 6th and Union in Allentown.

Slides: 6 (1 large spiral slide, 1 tunnel slide, 1 single slide, 3 double slides)
Bridges: 2 (1 suspension, 1 fixed)
Tunnels: 1
Climbers: standard ladder, arch climber, curly climber, snake pole
Swings: 0
Other: floating stones, zip line, fireman's pole, overhead ladders

There are plenty of benches around the outside of the park.  There are picnic tables nearby.  The parking is very limited and is on the street.

On the day that we went, there was only one other family there and the person told me that they are often the only people there during the day.  The picnic table nearby was being used to play dominoes.

I thought the park was well maintained.  There was a little bit of trash and there is some graffiti on part of the equipment.  I would definitely go back there again during the day.

Welcome to Kids LV.  I'm just getting the site up and running, so please pardon the dust.

If there is anything that you would like to see added, please let me know.  Right now, my main focus is finding playgrounds (with pictures) and finding things like kids' nights at restaurants.

Thanks for visiting!
